IMUN Thailand 2018

IMUN THAILAND 2018

June 1 - 4th, 2018

The first International Model United Nations Conference was held from June 1st to June 4th, 2018 at Bangkok Palace Hotel, Thailand. Our committee members are comprised of people who are carefully selected based on their extensive model UN and debate experience. Moreover, we had more than 250 delegates from various countries who experienced the thrills and challenges in an IMUN Conference by stepping into the shoes of UN representatives and decision makers around the world together with the IMUN organizing committee.

The conference featured intensive training workshops taught by experienced chairs, briefings on important agenda items and a conference session simulating 5 different committees : United Nations Security Council (UNSC), International Court of Justice (ICJ), World Health Organization (WHO), United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC). Delegates at IMUN are immersed in a thriving fast-paced environment, working together to create practical and dynamic solutions to the world’s current crises. This allows them to think critically, to collaborate with others, to propose constructive resolutions, and to develop the crucial diplomatic skills.
